Once one this island finished product

Well decently pleased. This is not what I had initially intended, however it was changed last minute when the director wanted something else. So I am not the happiest with it but at this point what can you do,

So the concept of it is suppose to be that the poor are on the left side where the quadrilateral steps are. It is suppose to be bright and vibrant. The right are suppose to be on the right where that hut looking thing is and it is suppose to be a dull brown/gray/beige. Much to my dismay curtains were added later. behind the tree with DSR.

Bye Bye Birdie Set 2011



This is my set for the 2011 production of bye bye birdie. The concept of it is 14 main walls to move around to create ironically 14 different locations. Their are also smaller walls that create a pattern of both stars and stripes on all inner locations.
It starts off with the picture above.  It takes on a very Oz feeling if lit right. When the play is set in Sweet apple, the colors are bright and vibrant. When the scenes are set in New York, the back side of the colors are flipped around and create a dull atmosphere. The Scene Below is the New York Train Station. 


This is the interior house. Lit fairly well, you can see the pattern on the orange and green fabric.

Not only was the color spectrum set used for Telephone hourn bit it was altered a little for the Ed Sullivan show scene.
